векселя предложения (Великобритания): казначейские векселя, предаваемые через еженедельные аукционы (торги) Банка Англии, в отличие от векселей, продаваемых непосредственно государственным учреждениям; участниками аукционов в основном являются учетные дома (до 1971 г. подавали коллективную заявку), принявшие обязательство скупать все предлагаемые векселя; см. tap bills.
